Kalakendra is a nonprofitorganization formed in February 1987 and incorporated in the State of Oregon. Kalakendra's mission is to introduce, promote and enhance awareness of the various performing arts of the Indian subcontinent through presenting concerts, classical dances, recitals and lecture demonstrations.

Portland Baroque Orchestra

Portland Youth Philharmonic Association
The Portland Youth Philharmonic Association supports two full symphony orchestras, a wind ensemble and one string orchestra for younger musicians. Each group is made up of outstanding young musicians chosen by open auditions each spring and early fall and seated solely according to ability.
